Little League Deserving of Help
The Bellefonte Little League has called a meeting to make plans for the coming season. Frank Webster, the president, has invited everyone interested in the league to be at the YMCA tomorrow to help the league get started for the year.
It is certain that the old faithfuls who have behind the program will be there and will do their share but that isn’t enough. There are many others, even those whose boys will be among the players, who somehow don’t find the time to help support the program.
The Little League in Bellefonte has been a well-run and highly beneficial project. The physical plant of the league has been developed to a point that affords more than adequate facilities for league games.
Improvements and maintenance require the help of many hands. One of the best things that a man can do for the youth of his community is to get out and help with these chores.
We can also help out financially and when it comes time for the Little League’s annual call for funds we should remember that every penny is spend well for a worthwhile cause.
